Fruits acorn 1.5-2.5 cm long, 1 cm in diameter; ovoid; apex mucronate; 1 to 3 together; enclosed 1/3 to 2/3 by cup; cup campanulate, 1.5 cm in diameter, with lanceolate, leathery, brown grey, 3-8 cm long scales; maturing in 1 year;
